Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy helps you overcome problems by learning to relax, think clearly
and discover your inner resources. Using a range of simple hypnotic and
self-help techniques, as well as deeper forms of relaxation, hypnotherapy can
increase confidence and well-being and reduce anxiety and stress.
It also helps with a range of other everyday problems, including phobias,
panic attacks, insomnia and unwanted habits. It can give you the strength to
deal with life-experiences such as personal loss or getting over a relationship.
At Garstang Natural Health Centre we also offer specialised programmes for
weight and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis itself is a special form of relaxation that allows you to utilise
the powers of your unconscious mind and your imagination to find solutions to
problems. It sometimes involves deep relaxation to facilitate access to your
resourceful inner self, but also takes the form of simple hypnotic exercises,
including visualisation and focused questioning to concentrate you on your
desired goals.
Who Are We?
We are husband and wife, Julian and Michaela Gill, and also run sessions from
our home in Ribchester. Due to commitments in Manchester, Michaela is not
currently available for appointments, except on special request. Both of us are
experienced professionals with combined backgrounds in education, guidance and
training.
We have Professional Hypnotherapy Diplomas in Clinical and Analytical
Hypnotherapy and are accredited by the National Regulatory Register for
Hypnotherapy. This means we comply with their code of ethics and are required to
meet established professional standards.
Cost of Sessions
Sessions each last an hour and are usually charged at a rate of £35 per
session. There is an additional charge of £7.50 where personalised CDs are
required for home use.
Sessions usually start with an Initial Consultation which is used to help us
understand your requirements and establish exactly what you want to achieve from
therapy. |
